Updated today

Overview

The Terms & Conditions tab is found within Settings β†’ Service and Prices. It allows you to set the legal or policy text that automatically appears at the bottom of your generated Quote and Invoice PDFs β€” keeping your documents professional and protecting your business without any manual effort.

How to Access Terms & Conditions

  1. Click on your Avatar in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Click on Service and Prices.

  4. Click the Terms & Conditions tab at the top of the page.

Quote Terms & Conditions

This section controls the terms displayed at the bottom of all generated Quote PDFs.

A default statement is pre-filled for you:

"Quotes are approximation of charges to you, and they are based on the anticipated details of the work to be done. It is possible for unexpected complications to cause some deviation from the quote. If additional parts or labor are required you will be contacted immediately."

You can keep this default text, edit it, or replace it entirely with your own terms using the rich text editor. The editor supports formatting options including bold, italic, underline, bullet lists, numbered lists, alignment, and more.

Visible on PDF toggle: Use the toggle in the top-right of this section to control whether the terms appear on your Quote PDFs. When toggled ON (blue), the text will be included at the bottom of every generated Quote PDF.

Invoice Terms & Conditions

This section controls the terms displayed at the bottom of all generated Invoice PDFs.

A default statement is pre-filled for you:

"By paying the due balance on invoices provided, the Client hereby acknowledges that all requested service items for this date and/or any other dates listed above in the description section of the table, have been performed and have been tested showing successful satisfactory install/repair, unless otherwise stated on the invoice, in which labor service charges still apply if any repairs have been made. By accepting this invoice, the Client agrees to pay in full the amount listed in the Total section of the invoice."

As with quotes, you can edit this text freely or replace it with your own custom terms using the rich text editor.

Visible on PDF toggle: Use the toggle in the top-right of this section to control whether the terms appear on your Invoice PDFs. When toggled ON (blue), the text will be included at the bottom of every generated Invoice PDF.

Saving Your Changes

After making any edits to either section, click the Save Changes button in the bottom-right corner of the page. Your updated terms will immediately apply to all newly generated Quote and Invoice PDFs.

Note: Changes apply to PDFs generated going forward. Previously sent quotes and invoices are not affected.
