Why is this important?
Automated notifications keep your business running smoothly without manual effort. By configuring these settings, you ensure that:
Employees know immediately when they are assigned a new job.
Customers receive professional confirmations when a job is scheduled or finished.
Billing reminders are sent automatically, helping you get paid faster.
Step 1: Access Notification Settings
Click on your Avatar in the top right corner of the dashboard.
Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Scroll down to the Communication section.
Click on Notifications.
Step 2: Understanding Notification Categories
Notifications are grouped by function. You can toggle each one ON or OFF using the switch in the top right corner of the card.
Employee Notifications
These are internal alerts sent to your team.
Employee Account Notification: Welcomes a new staff member when you create their account.
Job Assignment Notification: Alerts a technician when they are assigned a new job.
Message Notification: Notifies an employee when they receive a new internal message.
Job Notifications
These update your client on the status of their service.
Quote Notification: Sent when you email a new estimate.
Scheduled Job Notification: Confirms the date and time of an appointment.
Service Arrival Job (On My Way): Let the client know the technician is en route.
Start Job / Complete Job: Updates the client when work begins and ends.
Billing & Customer Notifications
Invoice Notification: Sent when you email a bill to a client.
Client Hub Invite: The welcome email inviting a customer to their private portal.
Marketing: Includes templates for Promo, Holiday, and Education emails.
Step 3: Customizing Email Content
You can change the wording of any email to match your brand voice.
Edit Content: Click the pencil icon inside the notification card you want to change.
Popup Editor: A window will appear showing the current email text (often using simple HTML tags like
<p>for paragraphs).Example: You can change "You have a new message" to "Heads up! New update from the team."
Preview: Click the Preview link in the top right of the popup to see exactly how the email will look to the recipient.
Save: Click Save to apply your changes.
Restore Default: If you make a mistake, simply click Restore Default Message in the editor to return to the original WIZniche template.
Step 4: Save Your Changes
Once you have toggled your desired notifications on/off and edited the content, you must click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom right of the screen to finalize your settings.
