Forgot to start the timer? Forgot to end it? Authorized team members can fix any job time entry, and WIZniche keeps a record of every change.
When to Correct an Entry
Someone forgot to start the timer.
Someone forgot to end the timer.
A pause or resume was recorded at the wrong time.
You need to make an office correction.
How to Correct an Entry
Open the job and click the Job Time Log tab.
Find the entry and click the pencil icon at the end of its row. The Correct job time panel opens, showing the team member and the date.
Change what you need (see below).
Click Save correction.
What You Can Change
Started: When the timer began.
Ended: When the timer ended.
Pauses and resumes: Change the time of any pause or resume. Click the red trash can next to one to remove it.
Why: Type a short reason for the correction, like "Technician forgot to end the timer." It's recorded on the job.
At the bottom of the panel, a line shows the time from start to end, like 35 min from start to end, before paused time is taken off. Use it to check your changes before you save.
Example: Marco forgot to end his timer and left it running past 3:00 PM. Open his entry, change Ended to 3:00 PM, type "Forgot to end the timer" in Why, and click Save correction.
The Total Fixes Itself
You can't type a total. Change the times, and WIZniche recalculates the job time from them. That way, every total always has a timeline behind it.
Delete an Entry
If an entry shouldn't be there at all, click Delete record at the bottom left of the panel.
Every Change Is Recorded
WIZniche keeps a history of each correction. It saves the original value, the new value, who made the change, and when they made it. Nothing gets changed without a trace.
Who Can Make Changes
Running a timer and editing time are two separate permissions. Your technicians can start, pause, and end their own job time, while only the people you choose can correct saved entries.
