Overview

The Dashboard is the first screen you see when logging into WIZniche. It is designed to give you a "pulse check" on your business immediately.

The Dashboard is divided into two distinct views, which you can toggle between using the buttons in the top right corner:

  1. Insight: Focuses on financials, sales performance, and historical data.

  2. Production: Focuses on daily operations, active technicians, and immediate workflow tasks.

Navigation & Quick Actions

The dashboard is designed to put your most common actions one click away.

The "Create New" Button (Sidebar)

On the far left sidebar, the green (+) Create New button is your starting point for new work. Hovering or clicking this reveals a quick menu to instantly create:

  • Deal: Start a new sales opportunity.

  • Assessment: Schedule an inspection.

  • Quote: Build a price estimate.

  • Job: Create a work order.

  • Invoice: Bill a customer.

  • Event: Add a calendar event.

  • Customer: Add a new client profile.

  • Property: Add a new service location.

  • Purchase Order: Order parts or inventory.

The Avatar Menu (Profile Settings)

Clicking your profile picture in the top right corner opens your personal menu:

  • Timesheet: View your clocked hours (essential for field technicians).

  • Notifications: View your alert history.

  • Account: Manage your user profile details.

  • Settings: Access the main company configuration (Business Hours, Services, Pricing).

  • Help Center: Quick access to support guides.

  • Log Out: Securely exit the system.

Global Search

At the top right, use the Magnifying Glass icon to "Search everything." You can type a customer name, invoice number, or job ID to jump straight to that record.

Message Center Shortcut

Click the Speech Bubble icon to open the full Messenger.

  • Centralized Comms: View all SMS sent to/from clients.

  • Threads: Click on any conversation (e.g., "Alex Young") to view the full history and reply instantly.

Tasks Panel

Click the Checkmark icon to open your personal Tasks sidebar.

  • Tabs: Toggle between Upcoming, Past Due, and Completed tasks.

  • Action: Use this to track follow-ups (e.g., "Call Adam about Job #558389") or internal reminders.

  • Edit: You can check off tasks as done or click the pencil icon to edit details directly from this view.

Activity Log

Click the Pulse Line icon to open the Activity Log.

  • What it tracks: This is an audit trail of who did what and when (e.g., "Charles Anderson created a job at 8:28 PM").

  • Date Picker: By default, it shows today's activity. Click the Calendar Icon at the top of the panel to select a past date and review historical actions.

The Insight Dashboard

Switch to the Insight tab to view your money and sales metrics.

Daily Performance Cards (Top Row)

These four cards give you a snapshot of today's performance compared to the same date last month.

  • Revenue Earned Today: Total money brought in.

  • Jobs Completed: Count of finished jobs.

  • Paid Today: Total payments collected.

  • Jobs Booked Today: New jobs scheduled.

Note: These metrics are fixed to "Today" vs "Last Month" to help you spot immediate trends.

Sales Overview

This bar graph visualizes your sales performance.

  • Default View: Shows data for "This Month."

  • Filter: Use the dropdown menu to change the time range to see different periods.

Invoice Status Breakdown

Monitor your cash flow with two dedicated sections:

  • Open Invoices: Shows the value of invoices that are Past Due, Current, and Unbilled.

  • Paid Invoices: Shows a comparison of Overdue vs. Unpaid vs. Paid amounts.

Sales Leaders

Who is selling the most?

  • This list ranks your employees based on Quotes Approved. It identifies who is closing the most deals, not just who is sending the most quotes.

Inventory Reorder

This section alerts you to stock shortages.

  • How it works: The system calculates a "Risk Percentage" based on your stock levels versus your reorder points.

  • If an item appears here, it means the quantity has dropped below your safety threshold and needs to be reordered immediately.

2. The Production Dashboard (Daily Operations)

Switch to the Production tab to manage your team and today's workload.

Clocked-In Technicians

At the very top, you will see a list of all technicians who are currently Active (Clocked In). This allows dispatchers to quickly see who is available for work.

Workflow Cards: "All Time" vs. "Today" Logic

The Production dashboard uses specific logic to help you separate your Backlog (things you need to get to) from your Agenda (things happening today).

Here is how to read the counters:

Section

Metric

Timeframe Logic

What it means for you

Assessments

Requested / Pending

All Time

This is your backlog of assessments needing attention.

Scheduled / Complete

Today

These are assessments happening today.

Quotes

Requested / Pending / Open

All Time

Total pipeline of potential sales waiting for action.

Approved

Today

Deals successfully closed today.

Jobs

Requested / Pending

All Time

Jobs that need to be scheduled.

Scheduled / Complete

Today

The actual work schedule for today.

Invoices

Past Due / Open / Draft

All Time

Total financial backlog.

Pro Tip: If you see a high number in "Jobs Pending," that is your queue of unscheduled work. If you see a number in "Jobs Scheduled," that is strictly what your team is doing right now, today.

Purchase Orders & Projects

  • Purchase Orders: View the status of recent orders (e.g., "Ordered," "Shipped") to track incoming parts.

  • Projects: A list of active multi-stage projects currently in progress.

3. Notifications

In the top right corner of the Production dashboard, you will see a Bell Icon.

  • This serves as your notification center for immediate alerts, such as new job requests, message replies, or system updates.
