Why is this important?
The Quotes List Page is your sales command center. It provides a real-time view of your pipeline, allowing you to track which estimates are waiting for client approval, which are ready to be scheduled, and which need follow-up.
1. Accessing the Quotes List
Log in to your WIZniche dashboard.
Click on the Three-Line Sidebar menu (top left).
Click on Quotes.
The page will load automatically, defaulting to the All view.
2. Understanding Status Tabs
At the top of the page, your quotes are organized by their current stage in the sales cycle. Click a tab to filter the list instantly:
All: The default view showing every quote.
Requested: Quotes initiated by a customer request but not yet sent.
Pending: Quotes sent to the customer but not yet viewed.
Open: Quotes the customer has viewed but not yet approved.
Approved: Quotes accepted by the customer (Ready to convert to a Job).
Note: Each tab displays a counter (e.g., "Pending (3)") so you can see your workload at a glance.
3. Quick Actions (Convert & Manage)
Every row in the list has a Three-Dot Action Menu on the left side. Clicking this gives you context-specific options based on the quote status:
Edit Quote: Modify details/pricing (only available if the quote is not yet approved).
Convert to Job: Instantly turn an approved quote into a scheduled job.
Convert to Invoice: Skip the job stage and bill the client immediately.
Send Email: Resend the quote notification to the customer.
Download Quote: Save a PDF copy of the specific quote.
Delete Quote: Remove the quote from the system.
Note: For data integrity, Approved quotes cannot be deleted. You must cancel the approval status first if you need to remove them.
4. Page Controls (Export & Print)
In the top right corner of the toolbar, you will find utility buttons:
Column Visibility (Gear Icon): Choose which columns are visible to declutter your view.
Print: Generates a printer-friendly version of the current list.
Download: Exports your current view to PDF or Excel for external reporting.
Create Quote (+): The shortcut to start a brand new quote immediately.
5. Searching, Sorting & Filtering
The list table supports infinite scrolling, so you can browse your entire history without clicking "Next Page." You can also use advanced tools to find specific records:
The Search Bar
Located above the table, use this to perform keyword searches by Customer Name, Service Type, or Quote Number.
Column Sorting & Filters
You can click on column headers to sort (A-Z or High-Low). Several columns also offer specific filters:
Customer: Sort alphabetically to group quotes by client.
Service Type: Click the Filter Icon to select one or more specific services (e.g., show only "HVAC Repair" quotes).
Date: Click the Filter Icon to use the calendar. You can select presets like Today, Last 7 Days, or This Month, or define a custom date range.
Status: Filter to show only specific statuses (e.g., hide "Cancelled" quotes).
Amount: Sort by value to identify your highest-value opportunities.
Pro Tip: Combine filters to generate specific reports. For example, filter by Status: Open and Date: Last Month to find stale quotes that need a follow-up call.
