Why use Deals?
WIZniche Deals acts as your digital sales pipeline. Instead of using sticky notes or spreadsheets, you can visualize every potential sale as a card on a board. This allows you to track a lead from the moment they call (New Lead) all the way to getting paid (Deal Won), ensuring no opportunity slips through the cracks.
Step 1: Accessing the Deals Board
Click on the Three-Line Sidebar menu (top left).
Click the green (+) Create New button.
Select Deal from the menu.
This opens your Kanban-style board where every lead is represented as a card.
Step 2: Customizing Your Pipeline (Board Settings)
Before adding leads, you should set up your board to match your sales process.
Click the Settings Icon (gear) at the top right of the board.
Manage Stages: You can view, rename, and recolor default stages like:
New Lead (Blue)
Quote Sent (Teal)
Deal Won (Green)
Dead Deal (Red)
Reorder: Use the drag handle to change the order of the columns.
Add/Delete: Click + Add new column to create custom stages or delete ones you don't use.
Step 3: Creating a New Deal
Click the Add New Lead button.
Customer Section:
Deal Name: Give it a clear title (Required).
Customer: Search for an existing client or create a new one.
Location: Select the service property.
Internal Use Section:
Assignee: Select the sales rep or technician responsible for this lead.
Stage: Choose where this card starts (e.g., "New Lead").
Opportunity Value: Enter the expected dollar value.
Source: Track where the lead came from (Website, Referral, Meta Ads, Instagram).
Click Save.
Step 4: Managing the Board
Drag and Drop As a deal progresses, simply click and drag the card from one column to the next (e.g., dragging a card from "New Lead" to "Quote Sent").
Filters & Sorting Use the toolbar at the top to find specific deals:
Technician: See only deals assigned to specific staff.
Date: Filter by creation date range.
Type: Filter by lead source (e.g., show only "Instagram" leads).
Sort By: Arrange cards by Newest, Oldest, Highest Value, or Lowest Value.
Step 5: Working the Deal (Details Sidebar)
Click on any deal card to open the Deal Details Sidebar. This is your workspace for closing the sale.
Communication Tools
At the top of the sidebar, you have instant access to contact the client:
Call: Start a phone call.
Message: Open the 2-way SMS window.
Email: Send an email directly to the customer.
Tabs for Collaboration
Activity Log: An audit trail of every status change and action taken on this deal.
Notes: Add internal timestamps notes for your team (e.g., "Client prefers evening calls").
Message Logs: View the full text message history and client replies.
Step 6: Converting to Paid Work
The ultimate goal is conversion. From the deal sidebar, you can instantly turn a lead into a transaction without re-typing data.
Create Quote: Generates a new estimate linked to this deal.
Convert to Invoice: Skips the quote and bills the client immediately.
Convert to Job: Allows you to schedule the job on your calendar.
Convert to Assessment: Allows you to schedule an assessment on your calendar.
Note: Once converted, the button changes to show the linked record (e.g., "Quote #1024"). You can click "View Deal" on that Quote/Job to trace it back to the original lead.
