Updated over a month ago

Why is this important?

The Invoice List Page is the financial ledger of your WIZniche account. It allows you to track revenue in real-time, instantly identify overdue payments that need follow-up, and ensure all your billing data is correctly synced to QuickBooks.

1. Accessing the Invoice List

  1. Log in to your WIZniche dashboard.

  2. Click on the Three-Line Sidebar menu (top left).

  3. Click on Invoices.

  4. The page will load automatically, defaulting to the All view.

2. Understanding Status Tabs

At the top of the page, your invoices are categorized by their payment status. Click a tab to filter the list instantly:

  • All: The default view showing every invoice ever created.

  • Past Due: Invoices that have passed their due date and require immediate attention.

  • Current: Invoices that have been sent but are not yet due.

  • Paid: Fully paid invoices.

  • Unbilled: Services or jobs that have been completed but not yet converted into a formal invoice.

At a Glance: Each tab header displays two key metrics:

  1. The Count of invoices in that category.

  2. The Total Dollar Amount value of those invoices.

3. Searching, Sorting & Filtering

The table offers robust tools to help you find specific financial records quickly.

The Search Bar

Located above the table, use this for quick lookups by Invoice Number, Customer Name, or general keywords.

Column Features

  • Invoice: Displays the invoice number. Note: These numbers are clickable links that open the full invoice details.

  • Customer: Sort alphabetically or use the filter to view specific Customer Types.

  • Service: Sort or filter to see invoices related to specific service types.

  • Amount Due: Sort by value to prioritize high-value collections.

  • Schedule Date: Click the filter icon to use date presets (e.g., Today, This Month, Last 30 Days) or define a custom range.

  • Sync Status: Displays whether the invoice has been successfully synced to QuickBooks.

4. Top Bar Functions

In the top right toolbar, you will find essential utility buttons:

  • Connect/Sync to QuickBooks: A dedicated button to initiate a sync or connect your account if you haven't done so yet.

  • Column Settings (Gear Icon): Click this to show or hide specific data columns to customize your view.

  • Print: Generates a printer-friendly version of the current list with your applied filters.

  • Download: Exports your current view to PDF or Excel for external reporting.

  • (+) Create: A shortcut to build a brand new invoice immediately.

5. Navigation Features

Breadcrumb Trail At the top left of the page, you will see a "Breadcrumb" trail (e.g., Dashboard > Invoices). This feature tracks your last 6 visited pages, allowing you to easily backtrack to where you were before opening the invoice list.
