Online Booking Settings in WIZniche

Why use Online Booking?

Online Booking allows your customers to schedule Jobs or request Assessments 24/7 without needing to call you. By sharing your unique booking link, clients can view your real-time availability, select a service, and book a job or assessment directly into your calendar.


1. Accessing Online Booking

  1. Click on your Avatar/Profile Picture in the top right corner.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Scroll down to the Integrations section.

  4. Click on Online Booking.


2. Configuring Settings

The Settings tab is divided into six key steps:

1. Appearance

Customize the look of your booking page.

  • Title & Description: Enter the text your customers will see at the top of the page (e.g., "Book Your Home Cleaning").

2. Availability

Control your schedule logic to prevent conflicts.

  • Advanced Notice: Set a buffer (e.g., 24 hours) to prevent last-minute bookings.

  • Use Slots by Service Item: (Highly Recommended) Toggle this ON. It calculates availability based on the specific duration of the service selected and the technician's schedule.

  • Holiday Scheduling: Disable bookings on specific holidays (e.g., Christmas, New Year's) based on your Company Profile settings.

3. Client Information

Customize the form fields your customers must fill out.

  • Toggle fields like Address, City, State, and Zip Code to be Active (Visible) and Required (Mandatory) on your customer's form, customizing the information you collect.

4. Payments

If you want to collect deposits or full payments upfront, you can do so by using these settings. Once your WIZniche wallet is setup, you see a toggle named "Require payment for booking". When enabled you see two options

  • Full Amount: Customer will be required to pay the full amount, before they can schedule the booking.

  • Deposit Percentage: Customer will be required to pay the deposit amount based on the percentage you input here.

    When "Require payment for booking" toggle is disabled customers are allowed to schedule without any payments.

5. Advanced Settings

  • Ad Source: Track where your bookings come from (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).

  • Booking Preferences:

    • Create a Deal: Toggle this to automatically create a Deal in your pipeline instead of a job. You can specify the stage (e.g., "New Lead").

    • Forward Notifications: Enter your email and phone number to get alerted instantly when a new booking arrives.

  • Thank You Page: Display your business contact info after a booking is confirmed.

  • Redirect URL: Automatically send customers to a specific webpage (like a "Thank You" page on your site) after they finish booking.

3. Managing Services

Control what your customers can book.

  • Add Item: Click this button to choose between:

    • New Service: Create a brand new service item specifically for online booking.

    • Existing Service: Select from your current price book.

  • Service Cards: Each enabled service appears as a card showing the price and eligible technicians.

  • Edit/Remove: Use the three-dot menu on any card to modify details or remove it from the booking page.


4. Scheduling Options

This tab offers two powerful features to streamline your workflow:

Allow Scheduling for Approved Quotes

  • What it does: If enabled, when a customer approves a Quote you sent them, a popup immediately asks if they want to schedule the work now.

  • Benefit: It removes the friction of "approve and wait for a call," allowing the deal to convert to a job instantly.

Allow On-Site Estimate

  • What it does: Adds a specific "On-Site Estimate" option to your booking menu.

  • Benefit: If a customer selects a Service, it creates a Job. If they select this option, it creates an Assessment in your system instead. This helps you distinguish between paying work and sales visits.


5. Your Booking Link & Widget

At the top of the page, you will see your unique booking URL and tools to share it:

  • Preview: Opens a new tab showing exactly what your customer will see.

  • Copy URL: Copies the link to your clipboard so you can paste it on social media or emails.

  • Get Embed Code: Provides the HTML code needed to embed the booking widget directly into your WordPress or custom website.
