Daily Calendar in WIZniche

Learn how to visualize your route, manage daily appointments, and filter tasks using the split-screen Daily Schedule view.

Why is this important?

The Daily Schedule is the "on-the-ground" tool for technicians and dispatchers. Unlike the monthly view, this interface is designed for execution. It combines a visual map with a chronological list of tasks, helping your team plan the most efficient routes and ensure they have all job details at their fingertips.


1. Accessing the Daily Schedule

  1. Log in to your WIZniche dashboard.

  2. Click on the Three-Line Sidebar menu (top left).

  3. Click on Calendars.

  4. The page will load automatically, defaulting to the Daily view.


2. Understanding the Split-Screen Layout

The interface is divided into two distinct sections to help you plan effectively:

The Map View

Occupying half the screen, this interactive Google Map displays pins for every appointment scheduled for the day. This visual aid is critical for visualizing your route and planning travel time between job sites.

Appointment Cards

On the other half of the screen, appointments are displayed as cards arranged in chronological order (ascending by time). Each card provides a snapshot of the job:

  • Key Details: Time, Client Name, Status, and Address.

  • Get Directions: A dedicated button to instantly launch navigation to the job site.


3. Interactive Features & Quick Actions

You can manage the flow of your day directly from these cards without leaving the page.

Rescheduling (Drag & Drop)

  • You can click and drag an appointment card to a new time slot to reschedule it on the fly.

  • Note: A confirmation prompt will appear to ensure you meant to make this change.

Card Action Buttons Each card contains a row of utility buttons for quick access:

  • View Appointment: Opens the full job details.

  • View Contact: Displays customer phone/email.

  • View Access Note: Shows gate codes or lockbox combos.

  • View Notes: Shows general internal notes.

  • Payment: View payment status or process a transaction.

  • Documents: Access attached files or photos.

  • Tags: View or edit labels associated with the job.


4. Navigation & Filters

Use the top toolbar to find exactly what you are looking for.

Date Navigation

  • Default: The view always opens to "Today."

  • Change Date: Use the date picker to navigate to past history or future schedules.

Filtering the Schedule

  • Appointment Type: Filter to show only specific categories (e.g., only "Installations").

  • Assignee: Select a specific employee from the list to view only their route for the day.

  • Show Pending: A toggle switch that hides confirmed jobs and displays only pending bookings that need attention.

  • Refresh Button: Clears all active filters and resets the view to default.
