Tap to Pay on iPhone lets you accept contactless payments directly on your iPhone, no extra hardware needed. You can take payments from contactless credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets quickly and securely.

How to Accept Contactless Cards
Ask your customer to hold their card horizontally at the top of your iPhone, over the contactless symbol.
When you see the Done checkmark, the card has been read and the transaction is processing.
How to Accept Apple Pay and Other Digital Wallets
Ask your customer to hold their device at the top of your iPhone, near the contactless symbol.
When you see the Done checkmark, the read is complete and the payment is processing.
How to Accept Payments That Require PIN
If the transaction needs a PIN, your iPhone will automatically show the PIN entry screen.
For customers who need visual or other assistance, Tap to Pay on iPhone includes Accessibility Options to help them securely enter their PIN. Simply select Accessibility Options on the PIN screen.

A compatible iPhone model
Some contactless cards may not work with all payment apps. Transaction limits may apply. Tap to Pay on iPhone is not available in all regions — see the list at Apple’s Tap to Pay availability page.
