Wallet Settings in WIZniche

Learn how to activate your wallet, track incoming payments, monitor bank deposits (payouts), and issue refunds directly from your dashboard.

Why is this important?

The WIZniche Wallet is the financial command center of your business. It allows you to view every credit card payment processed, verify when funds are deposited into your bank account, and manage customer refunds without needing to log into a third-party banking site.


Access Wallet Settings

  1. Click on your Avatar in the top right corner of the dashboard.

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Scroll down to the Accounting section.

  4. Click on Wallet.

1. Activating Your Wallet

Before you can view your transactions, you must complete the security verification process.

  • The "Get Started" Screen: If you are accessing this page for the first time, you will see a prompt to "Complete your account setup."

  • Onboarding: Click the blue Get Started button. You will be redirected to a secure onboarding site where you must verify your business identity and link your bank account for payouts.

  • Unlock: Once verification is complete, the screen will automatically update to reveal the full Wallet Dashboard.


2. Monitoring All Transactions

The All Transactions tab is your default view. It provides a real-time ledger of every payment processed through WIZniche.

The Dashboard View

At the top, you will see a quick summary:

  • All: Total number of transactions attempted.

  • Succeeded: Total number of approved payments.

  • Failed: Number of declined transactions.

Managing Individual Payments

In the transaction list, each row shows the Amount, Status (e.g., Authorised), Payment Method (e.g., Visa 1623), and Customer Name.

To take action on a specific payment, click the Three Dot Menu (Actions) on the left side of the row:

  1. Refund: Initiates a return of funds to the customer.

  2. View Invoice: Opens the original invoice associated with this payment.

  3. Send Receipt: Re-sends the payment confirmation email to the customer.


3. Tracking Payouts

Switch to the Payouts tab to track the money moving from WIZniche to your bank account.

  • What is a Payout? A payout is the transfer of your available funds (from your "Succeeded" transactions) to your linked bank account.

  • Payout Schedule: Depending on your bank and region, payouts typically occur on a rolling basis (e.g., daily or weekly).

  • Status: Use this tab to confirm if a deposit is In Transit (on its way) or Paid (successfully sent to your bank).


4. Tracking Refunds

If you have issued a refund, you can track its progress by switching to the Refunds tab.

  • Summary Cards: View the Total Refund count and the total Refund Amount processed to date.

  • Status Tracking: The table shows the status of every refund:

    • Pending: The refund has been initiated but is still processing with the bank.

    • Success: The funds have successfully been returned to the customer's card.
