How to Create Events in WIZniche

Introduction

Creating events in our app is a straightforward and intuitive process. This guide aims to walk you through each step, ensuring you can schedule events efficiently and effectively.


Navigating to Event Creation

  1. From anywhere in the app.

  2. Locate the blue Create button in the header.

  3. Click on it to reveal a dropdown list.

  4. Select Event from the list.

Upon selecting Event, a pop-up window titled Create Event will appear.

Creating an Event: A Walkthrough

Basic Information

  • Event Name: The first field you'll encounter is for the event name. You can select any name that you've previously saved.

Additional Features

  • Add Notes: You'll find an Add Note button next to the name field. Clicking it reveals a field where you can add supplementary information about the event.

Date and Time

  • Date Field: Clicking this field opens a dynamic calendar, allowing you to select the event date.

  • Time Field: Next to the date, a time field allows you to select the event time in 15-minute intervals.

  • Duration: A duration field starts at half an hour, with plus and minus buttons to adjust the duration in half-hour increments.

Status and Scheduler

  • Status: A dropdown menu offers three status options: Pending, Scheduled, and Completed.

  • Scheduler: This field is for entering the account holder's name responsible for scheduling the event.

Location and Participants

  • Location: A Google Maps field lets you type in the event location, which is then pinpointed on the map.

  • Add Participants: Below the map, an Add Participant field allows you to select attendees in a checklist-style. The account holder is selected by default.

Final Steps

  • Create or Cancel: The last step provides options to create or cancel the event.
