How to Create an Event in WIZniche

Create and manage an event in WIZniche!

Overview

Events in WIZniche help you plan all your important activities in one place. They can include dates, times, locations, participants, and status updates, all visible on your calendar for easy reference.

With Events, you can coordinate your team, ensure everyone knows where they need to be, and keep your schedule organized.


Navigation

  1. From your Dashboard, click the + Create button.

  2. Select Event from the menu.

  3. A Create Event popup will appear with fields to fill in.


Event Form Fields

1. Event Details

  • Name – Type the title of your event (e.g., “HVAC Installation at Green Street”).

  • + Note – Click to open a text field for additional notes about the event.


2. Date, Time & Duration

  • Date – Select from the calendar.

  • Time – Choose the start time (in 15-minute intervals).

  • Duration – Pick how long the event will run.

  • Once you set these, WIZniche will auto-generate a sentence showing the exact date and time range for clarity.

Example:

Tuesday, August 5, 2025 — 9:00 AM to 5:10 PM


3. Location

  • Search Field – Start typing to search Google-powered locations.

  • Map Preview – Once selected, a map pin will appear, and you can adjust it directly on the map.


4. Status

  • Options: Pending, Scheduled, Complete

  • Choose the current status to track event progress.


5. Scheduler

  • Shows the account or person responsible for scheduling this event.


6. Participants

  • Displays your employee list.

  • Select All – Add everyone.

  • Or check/uncheck individuals to assign only specific team members.


Creating the Event

  • Click Cancel to discard changes or Create Event to save.

  • Once created, the event will appear in your Calendar on the scheduled date/time slot.

Next Steps:
Once you’ve created an event, you can manage it from the Calendar View, reschedule, update status, or adjust participants as needed.
