Best Practices for Scheduling

  1. Add a Customer

  2. Add a Service Location

  3. Add a Service Item

Note: When you add a Service Item, the duration and employees associated with that service item automatically populate the Duration field in your scheduling section, and the Technician Drop Down only shows eligible employees for that Job.

Schedule Section

  • Date & Time: Use the pickers to set the Start/End Date & Time (required).

  • Technician: Use the Technician Dropdown to assign one-to-many employees or specific teams for the job.

  • Duration: The Duration Field is auto-calculated based on your service items but can be overridden manually using the override toggle.

  • Calendar View: Once you put in the required info and click save, a calendar preview highlights the job schedule to help you avoid double-booking your staff.

Scheduling the Job (Change Status from Pending to Schedule)

Once you click save, the job would still be in its Pending status, to make sure your employees see this Job on their Calendar, you need to schedule it. To schedule the Job all you need to do is move to the Status drop down and select Schedule to make sure that your Job is scheduled, assigned and visible to your team.
