A project's progress bar tells you at a glance how much work is done. Its status tells you what stage the project is in.
How Progress Is Worked Out
Progress is the number of completed jobs and tasks divided by all the jobs and tasks in the project.
Example: A project has 5 jobs and 20 tasks, so 20 items in total. Your team has finished 5 of them. The progress bar shows 25%.
Each time a job or task is completed, the bar moves up on its own.
Where You'll See It
At the top of the project page.
In the Progress column on the Projects page.
On the project card on your dashboard.
On the customer's project in Client Hub.
How to Change a Project Status
A project can have one of four statuses:
Pending: Created, but work hasn't started.
In Progress: Work is underway.
Completed: All done.
Cancelled: Stopped and won't continue.
Open the project, click the status dropdown at the top, and pick a new status.
Example: Your crew starts demolition on Monday. Move the project from Pending to In Progress. When the final inspection passes, move it to Completed.
