Closed, Not Cancelled
When a customer picks one package, the other two are marked closed rather than cancelled. Good and Best were never meant to be sold on their own once Better was chosen — so cancelling them would incorrectly suggest a customer backed out of a deal, when nothing was ever lost.
Why This Matters for Your Numbers
Because losing packages are closed instead of cancelled, they don't distort your cancellation figures. A Tiered Quote is technically three quotes internally, but it's treated as one quote in your dashboards, totals, and quote list, so your reporting isn't thrown off by packages nobody was ever going to buy.
