How to Create a Quote in WIZniche

Creating a quote in WIZniche is a streamlined process designed to help you define services, assign customers, and manage pricing and approvals with full visibility. This guide walks you through every step, from quote setup to sending and conversion.


1. Access the Quote Creation Screen

  • From the Dashboard, click the + Create button.

  • Select "Quote" from the dropdown list.

  • You’ll be taken to the new quote creation page.


2. Set Basic Information

  • Quote Date: Defaults to today but can be changed.

  • Assigned Employee: Select from a list of available staff.

  • Status: Defaults to Pending but can be updated manually or changes automatically (e.g., Approved, Cancelled).

  • Click Preview to view a PDF of the quote.

  • Opportunity Rating: Use the 5-star system to indicate how likely the quote is to convert.

  • Tags: Add relevant tags to help organize and filter quotes later.

3. Add Job Details & Pricing

  • Use the Search Service Item field to add services or create new items on the fly.

  • Specify Quantity, Price, and Scope of Work.

  • Toggle whether the item is Taxable.

Tip: You can add any number of additional items like:

  • Service Items

  • Warranty Plans

  • Service Plans

  • Inventory Items

3.1 Discounts

  • Add Discounts (percentage or fixed amount).

3.2 Deposits

  • Set a Deposit (optional) with percentage or flat value.

4. Add Customer Information

  • Search and select an existing customer or click + Create Customer to add a new one.

  • Fill in customer details, addresses, and toggle notification preferences.

  • Use View Profile to preview customer info.

Tip: Multiple customers can be added. Use the Paid By toggle to assign billing responsibility and don't forget to check the send box to send the quote to multiple recipients.

5. Define Service Location

  • Choose from existing locations or click + Create Property to add a new one.

  • Once selected, a Google map preview is shown.

6. Notes, Attachments, and Checklists

  • Notes: Use the + Note button to add internal or client-facing notes.

  • Attachments: Upload documents and toggle if want to send them with the quote.

  • Checklists: Assign predefined checklists from settings or remove as needed.

7. Add Signatures and Track Deposits

  • Add one or multiple customer signatures with timestamps.

  • If customers approve the quote through the client hub, their signatures are saved here.

  • View deposit records under the Deposits section.


8. Actions, Send and Save

  • Use the bottom bar to:

    • Access Actions Menu:

      • View Activity Log

      • Download or Print

      • Convert to Invoice or Job

        • Clicking Convert to Job or Invoice will quickly convert your Quote to a Job / Invoice. The created Job / Invoice will automatically sync all your information, allowing you to then Send the invoice or Schedule a Job seamlessly for your customers.

      • Delete the quote (if applicable)
