Inventory Management: Reports Page

This article walks you through the Inventory Reports page. You’ll learn how to open it, use the top bar (search, columns, print/export), read the three dashlets, switch between List and Bundles tabs, edit items/bundles, and create a new bundle. By the end, you’ll know exactly how to monitor stock levels, costs, and at-risk items.


Navigation

How to Access: From the dashboard, open the three-line menu, expand Inventory, then click Report.


Top Bar (Search, Column Settings, Print, Export)

How to Access: From Inventory > Report, use the controls at the top.

  • Search — Quickly find inventory items.

  • Settings (gear) — Choose which columns appear on the table.

    • Default columns: Item, SKU, Category, Quantity on Hand, Active, Status, Reorder Point

    • Optional columns: Sales Price, Cost, Unit, Taxable, As of Date, Description

    • Select All is available.

  • Print — Opens print preview of the current (filtered) table.

  • ExportExport to PDF or Export to Excel.


Dashlets (Top Summary)

How to Access: From Inventory > Report, see the three dashlets below the top bar.

  • Total Inventory — Count of all inventory items.

  • Total Cost — Aggregate cost of your inventory.

  • Total At Risk — Items at or below their Reorder Point (anything above the reorder point is not counted as at risk).


List Tab (Inventory Items)

From Inventory > Report, click the List tab (default).

This table lists your catalog items with stock and status details.

  • Columns (typical): Item (clickable), SKU, Category, Quantity on Hand, Active, Status (with filter options), Reorder Point, Actions (Delete).

  • Open/Edit an Item: Click the Item name to open the Edit Inventory Item form (same form used in the Inventory Catalog).

    • Update Vendor, Category, SKU, Price/Cost, Quantity on Hand, and more.

  • Sort/Filter: Use column headers and funnel icons where available.


Bundles Tab

How to Access: From Inventory > Report, click the Bundles tab.

Manage item bundles used for grouped pricing or discounts.

  • Columns:

    • Name (clickable)

    • Discount

    • Price

    • Status (funnel to switch Active/Inactive)

    • Items (shows the number of items in the bundle)

    • Actions (Delete)

  • Open/Edit a Bundle: Click Name to open the Edit Bundle form:

    • Change Bundle Name

    • Add/remove Items

    • Choose Group Price or Discount %

  • Create a New Bundle: While on Bundles, click + at the top.


Tips

How to Access: From Inventory > Report, use tabs and filters as needed.

  • Use dashlets to spot rising risk quickly (reorder candidates).

  • Keep Reorder Point accurate so Total At Risk remains trustworthy.

  • Use Export to share periodic snapshots with your team.
