Mobile App: Not Receiving Push Notifications on iOS Device?

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue!

If you're using WIZniche on your iPhone or iPad and not receiving push notifications, follow the steps below to resolve the issue:


1. Install the Latest Version of the App

Make sure you're running the latest version of WIZniche:

  • Open the App Store.

  • Search for WIZniche.

  • Tap Update if available. If it shows Open, your app is already up to date.


2. Didn’t See the Notification Permission Popup?

If you weren’t prompted to allow notifications:

  • Log out of the WIZniche app.

  • Log back in using your credentials.

  • When the popup appears asking “WIZniche” Would Like to Send You Notifications, tap Allow.

This allows the app to deliver important updates via push notifications.


3. Manually Enable Notifications in iOS Settings

If you're still not receiving notifications:

  • Go to your iOS Settings.

  • Tap Notifications.

  • Scroll down and select WIZniche.

  • Ensure Allow Notifications is turned on.

  • Make sure alerts, sounds, and badges are enabled.
